Get Meals

Our Chef Daniel along with our dedicated group of volunteers prepare tasty, healthy meals from scratch. Incorporating a wide array of culinary traditions and cultures, they create meals that feature fresh, high-quality ingredients–including vegetables and herbs that seasonally come from local community farms and gardens.

The menu is different every week, and includes dishes like:
Each week, we provide three nutritious entrees and two 16 oz. soups. The entrees are delivered frozen so that the meal recipient has the flexibility to reheat meals whenever they’d like to enjoy them. From time to time our meal recipients will also receive breakfast bag, shelf stable meal kits and other food items that they can enjoy.

How do I request meals?

We request an application for services to be completed. You may download the application from our website or you may call (330) 575-0996 or email amanda@compassiondelivered.org to receive on in the mail. All applications must be completed and mailed to the address provided on the application. Incomplete applications will not qualify.

Our service is free to the individual who is seeking out medical treatment or care for their life-threatening or terminal illness. Anyone can refer to our program.

Give In Honor or Memory of Someone Special

Remember someone special or celebrate a loved one’s birthday, wedding, or anniversary with a gift to Compassion Delivered. Email amanda@compassiondelivered.org to share how you’d like to recognize your loved one.

Make a Planned Gift

With thoughtful planning now, you can make a difference the lives of someone who is coping with life-threatening or terminal illnesses in need beyond your lifetime and contribute to the long-term financial strength of Compassion Delivered. There are many options, including naming Compassion Delivered as a beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.

Sponsor a Meal

Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, group volunteer day, or other special occasion by giving the gift of food to people coping with serious illness. Your name, company name, and/or the name of anyone you choose to honor will be printed on all meals prepared that day. Change for Change Fundraisers

Want to donate your birthday, collect gifts in honor of a loved one, and inspire others to support Compassion Delivered, or increase your impact in some other way? Create your own fundraiser! Request donations using your own fundraising page to help provide meals for neighbors in need. Reach out to us to get marketing materials or additional information.

Organizational Endowment

Donate to our donor advised fund through the Stark Community Foundation. This fund was established in 2020 to help look to the future of our organization. You may be able to receive a charitable deduction while avoiding capital gains taxes. The donation must be made directly to Stark Community Foundation Donor Advised Funds (Compassion Delivered). Please notify us of your gift so we can provide a receipt.

Make a Gift of Stock

Donate an appreciated asset you’ve owned for more than a year, and you may be able to receive a charitable deduction while avoiding capital gains taxes. The transfer must be made directly to Everence® Financial. Please notify us of your gift so we can provide a receipt.

Charitable IRA Rollover

If you’re 70-1/2 or older, transferring funds directly from your IRA may provide a way to make a meaningful gift to Compassion Delivered while reducing your overall tax burden.
