BOARD MEMBER
Haley is a blessed mom of 2 beautiful little humans enjoying the daily chaos that raising kids brings.
Haley is a proud graduate of Lake Center Christian School, class of 2011. During her time LCCS she was part of the 1st mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic and the 1st alumni trip to the Dominican Republic a few years after graduation. This helped to instill her love for helping others and carried over into her professional career in the restaurant industry, retail sales, insurance, and professional organizing. Many hats but always the same heart of service.
Haley has been a Stark County resident since 2014, but her husband Dow and two children, Ari and Jaxson, are lifelong Stark County residents.
What is spare time? With 2 little it's hard to find much time, but when I can get to just sit in quiet or outside is so nice. The simple things become so enjoyable when you don’t regularly get to do them.
My inspiration comes from the important women in my life. Starting with my mom and grandmother. Both have led their families with hearts of sacrifice, devotion, and a love like Jesus. Raising two of my own now I see all the things they did and understand so much more. I pray I can be even just the littlest bit like them.
In 2021 I was able to have my 1st conversation with Amanda and from there my involvement grew. Seeing the impact Compassion Delivered has on its community and not just the people we serve made it very clear God had led me to this organization for a reason. From a young age I have always loved to help others and prayed for the right places to do so. God opened the door to be on the board in August of 2023 and I am blessed to be a member of this growing community.
My hero is and always will be my Dad. His heart for his family, work ethic, and determination to do any job properly, even if it isn’t the easy way, is inspiring. Watching him as I grew up, I learned so many skills that I didn’t even realize till I got into the work force myself and had children. The pride he takes in all he is does makes it easy to see him as a hero.
I have an odd love for organization. Having something in order or in the right place brings so much joy to the point it’s probably not normal. However, it does come in handy when I am able to help with events and get to enjoy time in the Compassion Delivered office.
