Outreach Coordinator

Jill Mason Miller is a native of Stark County who graduated from Canton South High School and Malone College with a degree in Sociology. While at Malone, she met her college sweetheart and future husband of 48 years, Charlie. Jill embarked on a very long, enjoyable social work career of 42 years in which she developed programming for girls at the local YMCA, worked as a parole officer for juvenile delinquents and spent nearly 20 years in child welfare. In 1999, she answered God’s call on her life and opened and administered a faith-based non-profit housing program for aging-out foster youth and homeless young adults. She retired in 2017 and began volunteering with Compassion Delivered with her husband Charlie in 2018. Jill was recognized during her social work career with many awards including a National Merit Award from the Child Welfare League of America, Canton Excellence Award for Community Service, Malone University Alumni Merit Award and was inducted into the Stark County Women’s Hall of Fame in 2010.
