  • What do you like to do in your spare time?

While I don’t have much spare time these days with three young kids, I do enjoy family time that includes watching movies or sports, game nights, and dining out or trying new restaurants.  I also love going to concerts.

  • What inspires you?

In this season of life, the biggest inspiration in my life is my children.  I am motivated by the belief that through dedication, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive impact, I can instill in them the values of compassion, resilience, and the importance of contributing to the well-being of others.

  • Why are you on the board of directors?

After hearing about the opportunity, I knew that being on the board of directors would directly tie to my inspiration and the desire to serve others.  Serving on the board of directors is a tangible way for me to give back, and I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

  • Who is a hero of yours?

My parents are my heroes, embodying selflessness and unwavering support that have had a true impact on my character.  Both of their careers were in the public sector, with my dad serving youth as a high school guidance counselor, and my mom serving the elderly working for a council on aging.

  • What is something quirky about you?

I’m an avid New Kids on the Block fan.  My sisters-in-law and I have been to every concert since they started touring again in 2008.
